2008

In 2008, Running Productions was commissioned again to produce another short 'Eyes on the Street' from Scottish Screen and the UK Film Council.

About a documentary team explores the strange world of community wardens. It premiered at the Encounters Film Festival 2008 in Bristol. We have some exciting news about it's festival life coming soon!!

Running Productions secured funding from the South West Scotland Screen Commission to produce a short entitled 'Blank'. This is a debut film from directors Owen Gower and Mark Lacey. It is currently in post-production.

2007

Running Productions was commissioned by Scottish Screen / BBC Scotland and UK Film Council to produce a short entitled 'Kick About'.

Teenager Chris McMillan desperately tries to stop his older brother joining a Glasgow gang, only to end up becoming a part of his violent initiation.

Written by Gordon McLean and Directed by David Newbigging, the film premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2007. It has gone on to screen at festivals in the UK, Portugal and Italy.
